From Canada…POSTchernobylCARD
My card attempts to give some
perspectives, right or wrong, from how we receive the news stories here in north America about scenarios that happen «far
away…» One side lists various facts and thoughts and fictions
regarding what the name Chernobyl issues up in my memories of the terrible
accident in your part of the world twenty-five years ago… the other side
forms a cloud from laying the text over itself 25 times to cloud the focus of
it, yet the words spilling around the edges give us some details of the effects
of Chernobyl even now in our psyche. Derek Besant, Canada
